Caleb Matheson (@calebmatheson)
Engineer/Producer/Owner of Kudzu Recordings
Now working primarily as a producer and engineer, Caleb got his start in music as a drummer and bass player, and frequently plays both instruments on his productions. After graduating from Ithaca College’s audio engineering program, where he also studied drums, Caleb went to work at Engine Room Audio in Manhattan. There he learned some of the ins and outs of engineering professionally and running a studio, engineering sessions for clients including RCA, Alamo, Columbia, Angela Yee’s Lip Service, and many independent artists in the process, before departing to focus on his freelance work and Kudzu Recordings. Caleb’s productions, mixes, and masters have racked up tens of millions of Spotify streams and been featured on editorial playlists including Indie R&B, All New Indie, New Music Friday, and more. Caleb also tours as a drummer with pop R&B artist Hojean, performing across the US and internationally, playing many notable venues including The Rose Bowl and Forest Hills Stadium.
